Rule. Heard finally considering the short issue involved.
The petitioner who is in employment with the respondent no.2-Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal seeks a direction for expeditious adjudication of his caste claim. It is submitted by Shri Ashwin Deshpande, learned counsel for the petitioner that the Vigilance Cell has submitted its report to the Scrutiny Committee and the petitioner has also filed his reply thereto. Considering the fact that the vigilance enquiry is completed, the Scrutiny Committee, Amravati is directed to adjudicate the caste claim of the petitioner by the end of June, 2020. This be done in accordance with law. Till the caste claim is adjudicated, the services of the petitioner shall remain protected.
Rule is made absolute in aforesaid terms with no orders as to costs.
