Apprehending the arrest at the hands of police in connection with Crime No. 967/2004 registered with Police Station Khadan, Akola Tahsil and District Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 74, 333, 296, 351(2), 351(3) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023, the applicant approached this Court for grant of pre-arrest bail.

The crime is registered on the basis of a report lodged by the victim, on an allegation that due to the previous dispute, the applicant came in front of her house and also outraged her modesty and also abused her as well as her husband. On the basis of the said report, police have registered the crime against the present applicant. The applicant was protected by granting ad-interim protection, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the applicant has cooperated with the investigating agency. Considering the allegations in the report, custodial interrogation of the present applicant is not required. rkn

23aba3.2025.odt Considering the fact that he is already cooperating with the investigating agency, the interim protection granted to the present applicant deserves to be confirmed. Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following order:

a] In the event of arrest, in connection with Crime No. 967/2004 registered with Police Station Khadan, Akola Tahsil and District Akola for the offence punishable under Sections 74, 333, 296, 351(2), 351(3) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023, the applicant - Jaigopal Gajanan Thakre, shall be released on anticipatory bail, on executing P.R. Bond of Rs. 25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

b] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station once in a week on Monday between 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. till filing of the charge-sheet. c] The applicant shall not induce, threat or promise any witnesses who are acquainted with the facts of the present case.

The criminal application is disposed of.
