We direct the respondent-Scrutiny Committee to decide the casteclaim of the petitioner forwarded by the respondent No.3-Office of Joint Director, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Regional Officer, Amravati vide communication dated 03/04/2024 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks from production of this order before the said Authority.

We have fixed the time frame of six weeks as we are informed by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already submitted his explanation to the Vigilance Cell report and final hearing for issuance of validity certificate is also concluded in the month of October 2024. 4.

It is also informed that the respondent-employer is in process of appointing the next wait listed candidate.

The respondents are restrained from appointing any candidate against the post occupied by the petitioner from Scheduled Tribe category till the caste-claim of the petitioner is decided.
