The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is a senior citizen and contends that in the event Appeal is listed for final hearing, the applicant/ appellant would not press this application at this stage.

We find that this is one of the oldest Appeal of 2016 involving applicant, who is a senior citizen.

In that view of the matter, Criminal Application (APPA) No. 1097 of 2017 is disposed of since not pressed at this stage by fixing Criminal Appeal No. 211 of 2016 for final hearing on 11.07.2019 and be shown at the end of board.
