AUGUST 20, 2024 The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that because of subsequent developments, which includes termination of petitioner retrospectively and forfeiture of gratuity amount under Section 4(6)(b)(ii) of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, he has instructions to withdraw the petition. He seeks liberty to approach the Labour Court for appropriate remedy as available under law.

2] Permission is granted.

3] The Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
