Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

According to him, though the petitioner is entitled for family pension under the relevant Rules, so also for other service benefits, the issue regarding grant of same has not been decided by the respondent authorities. He further states that the petitioner has made a detailed representation to the respondent authorities. He has further brought our attention to the communication dated 08/03/2022 issued by the concerned department to the department of respondent no. 2.

Since the issue can very well be decided by the respondent no. 2 in light of communication dated 08/03/2022, we direct the respondent no. 2 authority to decide the issue regarding grant of family pension and other service benefits in light of aforesaid communication, in
