It is the case of the petitioner that though the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat has submitted objection to Notification issued under Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 on certain grounds by way of representation dated 29.06.2024, the same is not decided. 3.

He further states that in petition, he has raised several grounds which would clearly show that the respondent no.4 Authority is duty bound to consider the issues raised.

Considering the fact that the issue can be dealt with by the respondent no.4-Collector, we direct the respondent no.4-Collector to treat the present petition as a representation and decide it within a period of eight weeks from today.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce a copy of this order along with a copy of the petition before the concerned authority within a period of two weeks from today.

Needless to mention that the respondent no.4-Collector shall take into consideration the grounds raised in the petition along with the documents annexed while deciding the issues.

The decision, if any, taken by the respondent no.4-Collector be communication to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 8.

With these observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
