Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that although the petitioners are entitled to the various benefits extended by the State Government to the families of persons who have died due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been discriminated against. 3.
Be that as it may, since the said issue can very well be looked into by the respondent No.1, we direct that present writ petition be treated as representation and the said representation be decided by respondent No.1 within a period of ten weeks from receipt of this order along with the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to produce the copy of writ petition and the order passed today before the respondent No.1 within a period of two weeks from today. 5.
