Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

At the outset, he submits that, according to the policy recently framed by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), the extension for period of 7 years can be granted.

Be that as it may, since the issue can very well be dealt with by the respondent authorities, we direct the respondent authorities to treat the present petition as a representation and decide it within a period of eight weeks from today. 4.

Needless to mention that, while deciding the issue, the respondent authorities will take into consideration the policy, which is applicable.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce a copy of this order along with a copy of the petition before the authorities within a period of one week from today. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
