The petitioner who is serving as a 'Laboratory Attendant' at the respondent no.3-College which is run by the respondent nos. 1 and 2 was involved in the criminal offence which resulted in Crime No.174/2018 being registered against him. The petitioner was placed under suspension on 26.03.2018. The petitioner's suspension has been revoked on 29.11.2019. The petitioner was acquitted in the criminal trial by the judgment dated 30.12.2019. 3.
In these facts the only prayer that survives for adjudication is the payment of salary for the period from 27.03.2018 to 05.12.2019.

Since the petitioner now stands reinstated in service and according to the respondent nos. 1 to 3 the salary bills for the period from 27.03.2018 to 05.12.2019 have been submitted to the Joint Director of Higher Education, Amravati, on 12.07.2022, the respondent no.4 is directed to consider the proposal for payment of salary of the petitioner in accordance with law. To facilitate consideration of the said pay bills, the petitioner as well as the representative of the respondent nos. 1 to 3 shall appear before the respondent no.4 on 01.08.2022. A decision thereon be taken by the respondent no.4 within a period of four weeks from today. Rule is made absolute in aforesaid terms. No costs. ( URMILA JOSHI-PHALKE, J.) (A.S.CHANDURKAR, J.)
