Heard.

This petition questions the legality and validity of two resolutions passed by Municipal Council, Shegaon respondent No.2 on 12.10.2018, the numbers of which are respectively 2 and 35. The decisions so taken on the resolution have been forwarded to the respondent No.1 for approval. However, respondent No.1 has not taken any decision in the matter. We are of the view that purposes of the petition would stand served if appropriate directions are issued to the respondent No.1. Accordingly, respondent No.1 is directed to decide the proposal received by Municipal Council, Shegaon in terms of resolutions 2 and 35, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of the order. We also direct respondent No.1 to grant adequate opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

wp8414.18.O.odt The petitioner would be at liberty to raise objections during the course of the hearing. The petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
