Criminal Application (APPR) No.315/2017 1.
This is an application for suspension of substantive jail sentence and for grant of bail. 2.
The applicants were convicted by learned Magistrate in Regular Criminal Case No.313 of 1991 and were directed to suffer imprisonment for 3 months. An appeal carried by the applicants against the said judgment and order, bearing .....2/-
revn220.17 14 Criminal Appeal No.180 of 2016, is dismissed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-9 at Nagpur and the applicants were taken into custody.

Learned counsel Shri S.S. Jaiswal for the applicants submits that during the course of the Trial as well during the course of the appeal the applicants were on bail and at no point of time the applicants had misused the liberty granted to them. Learned counsel Shri Nitin Lambat for the non-applicant does not dispute this position. 4.
Today, the Court has admitted the revision since it involves the question of law.

In that view of the matter, substantive jail sentence imposed upon the applicants shall stand suspended during the pendency of the revision and the applicants be released on bail on their executing P.R. Bond by each of them in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with two solvent sureties of the like amount.

The criminal application is disposed of.
