We have heard learned Counsel for the petitioner in support of the prayer for quashing of communication dated 27-11-2018.

Our attention is invited to the interim order dated 11-12-2018, which is based on the isolated post available in school for the Scheduled Caste category candidate against which the petitioner was working which leads to grant of interim protection. 3.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner informs to us that in view of new staffing pattern the petitioner is declared as surplus vide order dated 29-01-2024. However, the school where the petitioner is now posted, being a surplus candidate, is not permitting to join him.

In the aforesaid factual background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with directions to the

2 wp 8385.18.odt petitioner to move a representation to the Education Officer (Secondary) within one week, making out the aforesaid grievance. 5.

The Education Officer so also the Deputy Director of Education shall deal with such grievance within one week from the receipt of the representation.

Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
