We deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with the following order:
(i) The petitioner shall draw detailed representation in support of his claim for an amount of Rs.2,13,675/- towards the payment of gratuity and Rs.51,840/- towards the arrears of pension. Such representation, if drawn alongwith supporting documents, the same be made over to the respondent-Education Officer(Secondary) within a period of four weeks from today.
(ii) The respondent-Education Officer shall from the receipt of such representation, submit his response to the claim of the petitioner for short payment of gratuity and arrears of pension to the Treasury Officer, within a period of four weeks. (iii) The Treasury Officer in turn, shall hear the petitioner and Education Officer, if so required, pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks thereafter.
(iv) Let the order be communicated to the petitioner and the Education Officer.
(v) The petitioner is at liberty to approach afresh, in case the order is adverse to the interest of the petitioner. 3.
