At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though an application for effecting the mutation is preferred on 13.09.2022, till this date no action has been taken by the office of respondent No.2.

Be that as it may, since the application is pending since 13.09.2022, we direct respondent No.2 to take decision in accordance with law within ten weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The decision taken be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of, in the above terms. No order as to costs.
