An innocuous prayer is made seeking a direction to the respondents to decide the applications preferred by the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment dated 16/02/2023 and 14/06/2024.

Since the prayer is reasonable, we direct Respondent No. 2 to decide the aforesaid applications within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter 5.
