Heard learned counsel for the parties.

At the outset, it is the contention of the petitioners that the respondents have wrongly fixed their pay. It is further submitted that this pay fixation was carried out by the respondents on 02.01.2025 illegally.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that, if the grounds raised in the petition are perused, it becomes clear that the pay fixation was not properly done.

Be that as it may, since the said issue can be very well be decided by respondent Nos. 3 and 4 by taking into consideration the grounds raised in the petition, we deem it appropriate to direct respondent Nos. 3 and 4 to examine the matter.

Accordingly, we direct that present petition be treated as a representation, and the same shall be decided by respondent Nos. 3 and 4 within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order.

113-WP-7930-2025.odt 2 Needless to mention, while deciding the representation, respondents shall take into consideration the Government Resolutions dated 06/08/2002 and 29/02/2024. The respondent authorities are also called upon to consider whether the communication and order dated 01/01/2024 can override the aforesaid two Government Resolutions.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
