By way of instant petition, the petitioner has prayed for granting appropriate pay-scale and other consequential benefits. In this regard, he has also moved representation dated 10/11/2025.

It is also case of the petitioner that a similar issue has already been decided by this Court in Writ Petition No.4012 of 2011 (Kamlakar Narayan Barmate and ors. Vs. Chief Engineer and ors.) decided on 12.12.2018, which decision has been affirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.(s) 24477 of 2019, decided on 12.02.2025.

That being so, we direct the respondent-authority to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 10/11/2025, within a period of two weeks from production of this order. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
