This application is filed for condonation of 171 days' delay caused in preferring appeal against the judgment and order dated 26/4/2018 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur in Special Child Criminal Case No. 27/2014 whereby applicant came to be convicted for the offence punishable under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 376(2)(f), (j), (i) and (n) of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer imprisonment for life and to pay fine of Rs.25,000/- and in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for one year.

For the grounds mentioned in para 4 of the application, delay caused is found satisfactorily explained. The application is, therefore, allowed.
