The effect of the order dated 22.11.2018 , which has been challenged in this petition is now over with the expiry of the period of ll months for which the order was to remain valid and therefore, to this extent, this petition has been rendered infructuous.

There is one more grievance of the petitioners as contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners. This grievance is about the respondent No.1-University not considering the inclusion of these petitioners in the list of graduate Agricultural Assistants and they submit that if their names are included in this seniority list, all the Kavita
25-wp 49 of 19.odt 2/2 petitioners would become eligible for promotion to the next post of Junior Research Assistant.

In our view, the petitioners would have to make a representation for redressal of such grievance to the University.

Learned counsel for the petitioners on instructions, submits that petitioners are willing to make such a representation.

In view of above, we find that purposes of this petition are substantially served and therefore, the petition is disposed of as having served its purpose. 7.
We, however grant liberty to the petitioners to make a suitable representation to respondent No.1 University, which may be made within a time of two weeks from the date of the order and if it is so made, it shall be disposed of by the University in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of the receipt of the representation. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
