This petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent no.5 - The Superintendent of Land Record, to decide the application filed by the petitioner under Section 256 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

In the result, Writ Petition is partly allowed and respondent No.5 is directed to decide the aforesaid application, within a period of 6 weeks from today. Needless to mention that the code of conduct
