Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Addl.G.P. for the respondent-State. 2.

The petitioners have approached this Court, seeking a direction and declaration that the acquisition of the land belonging to the petitioners has lapsed in terms of Section 24 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has invited our attention to the representation dated 07.05.2025, which is at Page 56 of the petition (AnnexureC), submitted by the petitioner to the respondents praying for same relief.

The learned counsel for the petitioners makes a nd.thawre

2/2 statement that the aforesaid representation is neither rejected nor allowed by the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioners can be redressed by disposing of the present petition with direction to the respondent No.4-Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation, Public Works Division, Zilla Parishad, Nagpur to decide the aforesaid representation within eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 6.

The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to furnish copy of this order to the concerned respondent within two weeks from today.

The decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioners within two weeks from the date of such decision.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
