Heard Shri M.N. Ali, Advocate for the applicant. He has pointed out statement of complainant Panchsheela Ramteke. She has pointed out PM report and submitted that deceased might have committed suicide nobody seen the accused/applicant while committing the crime. Since last 15 months, he is in jail. Therefore, prayed to grant bail.
The learned APP Ms. Udeshi has strongly objected application.
From the perusal of report and statement of informant it is clear that deceased was in the company of the applicant. She was the wife of applicant. The door of the lock was chain from outside. It itself show that after commission of the crime door was locked from outside. If it was a suicide then door could have been chain from inside, and not from outside. The PM report show that the cause of death due to strangulation. The applicant was absconding
ba1183.18.O.odt and was arrested from Uttar Pradesh. There is every likelihood of being the accused. Charge-sheet is already filed. Hence, he is not entitled for bail. Application is rejected. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. The observation made in this order shall not come in the way while deciding the trial on merit.
