2. The limited relief in this petition is to direct the Village Panchayat of Aldona to dispose of petitioner's application for the issue of a construction licence.

3. Mr Zaveri points out that this application was not being pressed because of the restraint order of this Court. The restraint order was issued because the Village Panchayat of Aldona did not have an MRF 22nd April, 2024

WP 9 of 2024 facility. Mr Zaveri now points out that the Panchayat now has an MRF facility. Mr Pavithran, the learned Counsel for the GSPCB confirms that this Panchayat has set up an operational MRF facility. Accordingly, while disposing of SMWP No.2/2007, we have already vacated the restraint imposed upon this Panchayat in the matter of considering applications for construction licences. This relief will enure for the benefit of the present petitioner.
