The challenge in this petition is to the ad interim ex parte order passed by the learned District Judge, Margao, in Misc. Civil Appeal no.7/2016/1. The said order is passed on 9/2/2016. It is submitted that the appeal as well as the application for interim relief is still pending. Mr. Da Costa, the learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, has restricted the relief to the prayer clause (b) only i.e. for directing expeditious disposal of Misc. Civil Appeal No.7/2016/1. In other words, the challenge to the impugned order is not pressed.

2. In view of this the petition is disposed off with a direction to the learned District Judge to decide Misc. Civil Appeal No.7/2016/1 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a

WP/155/2018 period of three months from the receipt of this order.
