At the request of Mr. T. George John, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner leave to amend to implead the Director of the Panchayat as party respondent no.4. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

2. Issue notice to the newly added respondent no.4.

3. Mr. V. Rodrigues, learned Government Advocate waives service on behalf of the respondent no.4.

4. After hearing the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties, without going into the merits of the rival contentions, it is

WP/14/2016 appropriate to dispose of the above petition by directing the respondent no.4 to decide the Panchayat Appeal No.141/2015 as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 29.02.2016. The parties are directed to appear before the respondent no.4 on 20.01.2016 at 3.00 p.m.

5. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
