2. The parties have agreed to settle the matter as follows: The respondent shall be paid by way of final settlement of this appeal compensation @Rs.25/- per square metre with statutory benefits upto the date the deposit was made before the Hon'ble High Court with accrued interest on the deposited amount, so calculated.

Balance, if any, to be refunded to the Government with accrued interest. The amount shall be paid with accrued interest to the respondent within a period of four weeks by the Registrar without any further reference to the Court.

3. The First Appeal shall, accordingly, stand withdrawn by the respective parties.
