The challenge in this Revision Application, is to the Order dated 6/12/2018 passed by the learned Trial Court, refusing to refer the parties to arbitration, under section 8 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Act, for short).

2. After the 2015 amendment to the Act, 1996, an appeal under section 37 lies against an order refusing to refer the parties to arbitration under section 8 of the Act. In such circumstances, the Civil Revision application is converted and be registered as an Appeal under Arbitration (AUA).
