P.C.:- Heard Mr. Nitin Sardessai, the learned Senior Advocate who appears along with Mr. Dhaval Zaveri for the Petitioner and Mr. D. Pangam, the learned Advocate General, who appears along with Ms. Maria Correia, Additional Govt. Advocate for the Respondents. 2.

The learned Advocate General has made a statement that in supersession of the earlier directions, the Petitioner is now directed to join for duties in the Office of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer,

Mapusa, Goa. The learned Advocate General further states that the period between 31/12/2020 and 16/01/2021, which is in fact the date on which the Petitioner has also joined the duties at the Office of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Mapusa, Goa, will be treated as the period spent on duty.

The learned Advocate General has also produced on record an application dated 16/1/2021 addressed by the Petitioner to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Mapusa, Goa requesting for permission to resume either at the Mapusa Police Station, or in the Office of the SDPO, Mapusa for further duties. This letter has endorsement made by the SDPO, Mapusa, permitting the Petitioner to join the Office of SDPO, Mapusa, Goa.

In view of the aforesaid, the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed. The concerned Respondents to act on the basis of the statement made by the learned Advocate General to this Court. 5.

This Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
