2. By judgment dated 19/09/2014 passed in Writ Petition No. 761/2009, this Court had directed the learned Mamlatdar of Bardez to dispose of purchase application as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of 6 months from the date of appearance before him. It is pointed out by learned Counsel for both the parties that the jurisdiction of Mamlatdar to deal with the said purchase application has now been taken away and the same lies with the Civil Judge, Junior Division.

3. Mr. Rodrigues, learned Counsel for the applicants submits that on account of the above amendment, the learned Mamlatdar could not dispose of the said application as per the directions of this Court.

4. In the circumstances above, the concerned Mamlatdar shall forward the said proceedings to Civil Court having jurisdiction within 15 days from the date receipt of this order and Civil Court shall dispose of the said purchase application as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of six months from the date of appearance before the Civil Court.

5. Application stands disposed of.
