At the time of hearing of the above petition, learned Advocate General has produced a copy of the Stop Work Order dated 21.1.2015 issued by the respondent no.2 in connection with the alleged illegal construction which is the subject matter of the above petition.

2. The above petition is filed essentially on the ground that the authorities are not initiating any action despite of the complaint filed by the petitioner.

3. Mr. Phaldessai, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no.1 has pointed out that the Panchayat Authority shall proceed in accordance with the provisions of the Panchayat Raj Act.

4. Taking note of the fact that the respondent no. 2 has already

WP/47/2015 initiated action and in view of the contention of the advocate for the local Panchayat nothing survives in the above petition at this stage.

5. Needless to state that any action taken by the authority shall be in accordance with law.
