The Petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Respondent-Employees Provident Fund Organisation dated 13 July 2017. The reason given in the Order is that the "Authorised Officers Signature not tallying".

Learned Counsel for the Respondent, on instructions, states that, it was by inadvertence, while feeding in the computer a

He states that a fresh order will be passed after considering the representation of the Petitioner, if any. In view of the statement, the order dated 13 July 2017 is quashed and set aside. It is open to the Petitioner to file additional representation within a period of two weeks. The learned Counsel for the Respondent states that, the officer, before passing the order, will consider giving hearing to the Petitioner if such a request is made by the Petitioner. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as under: a) The order dated 13 July 2017 is quashed and set aside. b) The Petitioner will file additional representation within a period of two weeks.

c) The Respondent will decide the application within a period of four weeks, thereafter.
