Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

Mr Matlock D'Souza, learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that all the Respondents have been duly served. Even affidavit of service is filed.

The Petitioner has made a complaint dated 26.09.2023 alleging certain illegal construction/activities by Respondent No.8 in the property bearing Survey No.88/14 and 87/12 in the Village of Chorao belonging to the Communidade. The Petitioner is aggrieved by the 11th March 2025

39-wp-314-2024.doc inaction on the part of the State Authorities in taking cognizance of this complaint.

Accordingly, we direct the Village Panchayat of Chorao (Respondent No.7) and the Deputy Collector and SDO of Tiswadi (Respondent No.4) to look into the Petitioner's complaint and dispose of such complaint, as expeditiously as possible and in any event within 3 months from today. The Authorities will have to comply with the principles of natural justice and fair play if any adverse action is proposed.

We clarify that we have not examined the merits of the complaint and, therefore, all contentions of all parties are left open. 6.
