The respondent nos.1(A) (i) to 1(A)(vii) have not been served with notice as they are living abroad. When this Court admitted the writ petition, it had the notice served on the respondents through publication. Now, the petitioner wants to take the same steps to ensure service on the respondents once again.

2. For the reasons mentioned in the application STA No. 131/2020 is allowed. The petitioner will ensure service of notice on those respondents through substituted service as sought in that application. Needless to observe that the petitioner will also ensure that he will cure the defects pointed out by the registry to enable the registry to furnish a regular number to that application. Subject to this requirement, the application for

STA/131/2020 substitute service stands allowed.
