Heard Mr. Desai, the learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. D. Pangam, the learned Advocate General for the Respondents.

2. Learned Advocate General places on record the Notification dated 21.01.2020, in terms of which, a committee has been constituted to review the private forests area provisionally identified by the Thomas Committee and the Araujo Committee which were constituted sometime in the year 2012.

3. Mr. Desai, the learned counsel, on the basis of instructions, submits that the Petitioners will file their objections/representations before this newly constituted review committee. He submits that liberty may be granted to the Petitioners to agitate the issue raised in this petition, in case, the grievance of the Petitioners is not redressed by the review committee.

4. Accordingly, this petition is disposed off with liberty as prayed for by the Petitioners. It is made clear that this Court has not adverted to the merits or demerits and, therefore, all contentions of all parties are kept open.
