The Petition is filed seeking directions to the Respondents to demolish the illegal structure carried out by Respondents No.5 and 6 and/or to stop the ongoing construction.

2. Today, i.e. on 25.09.2025, the Respondent No.5 has placed before us an additional affidavit, which is accompanied with an order dated 12.08.2025 passed by the Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Panaji, Goa, on an application filed by Ms. Bejment Dias for regularising the said structure and the order reveal that, by taking 25th September, 2025

WP 78 of 2023 into consideration the opinion sought from the Public Works Department, the Range Forest Department, Member Secretary of NGPDA as well as the Village Panchayat, the Authority has expressed an opinion that the application of regularisation deserve to be granted and the subject construction with an area of 111.26sq,mts. situated in property bearing Survey No.79/1 of Village Mercurim of Tiswadi Taluka is regularised.

3. In the wake of the aforesaid, the Petition do not survive as it sought relief of initiating an action of demolition against the structure of Respondents No.5 and 6, which is now regularised. Needless to state that the Petitioner is at liberty to raise a challenge to the order of regularisation, if he deems it appropriate.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
