The only grievance raised in this petition is the nonimplementation of final demolition order dated 03.08.2017 by the Margao Municipal Council.

Mr. Karpe, learned Counsel appears for respondent no.1, that is the Margao Municipal Council, and on instructions makes a statement that the final demolition order will be executed within four weeks from today. He also states that to the best of the knowledge of the respondent no.1 there is no interim relief or contrary order obtained by respondent no.2.

The respondent no.1, as a matter of abundant question to verify from respondent no.2 whether there is any such order restraining the Council from implementing its final demolition order.

Subject to the aforesaid the statement made by Mr. Karpe on behalf of the respondent no.1 is accepted and the respondent no.1 is directed to act accordingly.

This petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order for costs.
