While disposing of Writ Petition No.356/2024 vide order dated 17.04.2024, a statement on behalf of the GCZMA was accepted and it was directed that the GCZMA, by complying with the principles of natural justice, shall dispose of the show cause notices. The Contempt Petition was filed alleging the non-compliance of the said directions. We had issued notice to the respondents and today we have before us the reply affidavit filed by the GCZMA, tendering its unconditional apology for not adhering to the time frame in taking a final decision on the 17 show cause notices. However, a categorical statement is now made that the show cause notices are disposed of in its 481st meeting 24th September, 2025

CP 1 of 2025 of the GCZMA held on 18.09.2025 though the minutes are not yet uploaded.

By taking the affidavit on record and by accepting the statement made in para 5 thereof, we drop the Contempt Proceedings. ASHISH S. CHAVAN, J.
