Though no notice is directed to Respondent No.2, this Petition can be disposed of on the basis of a statement made by Mr. D.J. Pangam, learned Advocate General that the Mamlatdar of Bardez, Mapusa, i.e. Respondent No.1 herein will dispose of Mundkar Case No. 9/2012 pending before him within a period of six months from today. The statement is accepted and this Petition is disposed of.

We make it clear that we have not adverted to the merits of the matter between the Petitioners and Respondent No.2 and, therefore, it is for the Mamlatdar to dispose of the case on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to both the parties 4.
