Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. The challenge in this petition is to the order dated 11.01.2019, passed by the learned District Judge in Arbitration Petition No.9 of 2018.

3. By the impugned order, the petitioner (the respondent before the learned District Judge), has been permitted to withdraw the amount of Rs.25 Crores subject to furnishing of Bank Guarantee and the execution of the award passed by the Arbitrator has been stayed.

4. The learned Counsel for the petitioner points out that the main petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Act, for short), filed by the respondent, has been argued and is now fixed for rejoinder on 29.06.2019. Hence, it is submitted that this Court may expedite the hearing of the said petition.

5. Considering the submissions made at the bar, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to the learned District Judge to decide the petition under Section 34 of the Act as expeditiously as possible and, in any event by 31.08.2019.

6. The parties to co-operate for the time bound disposal of the petition. In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs.
