2. Mr Shirodkar states that the petitioner's application dated 25.02.2022 made under Section 49 of the Indian Stamp Duty Act, 1899 for refund of stamp duty will be disposed of by the Collector within six weeks in accordance with law and on its own merits.

3. We clarify that we have neither issued any direction nor have we examined the contentions regards refund on merits. 6th February, 2024
