In the course of arguments it has emerged that the proceedings before the learned Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, North Goa have came to a grinding halt in view of the records being called in the appeal which has been admitted thereby impeding the proceedings before the learned Motor Accident Claim Tribunal. Considering that there is no stay in the proceedings, nonetheless the proceedings stand stayed on account of the records and proceedings being called in this Court. In the interest of justice the records and proceedings be sent to the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal to proceed with the trial in accordance with law. Needless to say that the appeal would be heard in the normal course.
