We have heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel for Respondent no. 3 and 4. 2.

The limited prayers made by the Petitioner are disposal of the application dated 16 February 2015 and disposal of the case filed in the year 2002. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and learned Counsel for Respondent no. 3 and 4, both make a request that the

Maria S. 2 wp-189-2018 dtd.14-03-18 proceedings pending before the Mamlatdar at Mapusa be disposed of early.

It appears that the proceedings in respect of purchase of land by the Petitioner, who is stated to be mundkar, are pending since last 16 years. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel for Respondent no. 3 and 4 state that the ambit of the proceedings are narrow and the same can be disposed of in a short period of time. Considering that the proceedings are pending since 2002, the Mamlatdar is directed to dispose of the same within a period of four months from today, if the proceedings are otherwise ready for disposal.
