Undisputedly, against the impugned order dated 1st January, 2018, passed by the Director (Vigilance)& Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to the Government whereby the petitioner has been ordered to be suspended from services, an appeal in view of the peculiar facts, would lie to the Chief Secretary.

2. In the circumstances, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. As agreed by the learned Counsel for the

In case, the petitioner files an appeal within 15 days, the same be considered on its own merits and be decided in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
