The applicant in this bail application faces charges under sections 302 and 201 of IPC. He has been accused of killing his friend and roommate. The police investigated Crime No.97/2019 and filed the chargesheet on 15.01.2020. Earlier, the applicant applied for bail before the Additional Sessions Court, Mapusa. But that Court through order, dated 21.12.2020, dismissed the bail application.

2. Now, for the first time, the applicant has come before this Court.

3. Both learned counsel have argued at length. At any rate, in the end, the applicant's counsel sought this Court's leave to withdraw the bail application. But he wanted the applicant's liberty preserved to come back to this Court for the regular bail once the trial Court frames the charges.

4. The liberty is preserved and the application dismissed without any reference to the merits.
