By filing this application, the applicant is seeking extension of time by four days and to direct the registry to accept the cheque issued by the applicants in favour of the respondents.

2. On 20th November,2017, eight weeks time was granted to the applicants to deposit the amount.

3. According to the learned Counsel for the applicant- State, the amount could not be deposited within time but now the cheque is ready and the amount will be deposited within four days from today.

4. The learned counsel for the respondents has objected the extension of time on the ground that the amount is huge and the

MCA/79/2018 respondent is not able to get the benefits of the award as yet.

5. Having considered the submissions made by the parties and keeping in view that now the applicants are seeking only four days extension from today to deposit the amount, the application stands allowed by extending the time to deposit the amount by a further period of four days from today.
