2. Shri S. Keny, learned Advocate produced on record the certificate in support of his application for compounding the offence. The same is marked 'X' for identification.

3. The Authorised Representative of the Branch confirmed that all the loan amount has been cleared by the applicant. In view thereof, the application for compounding the application is allowed.

4. In view thereof, the judgment and sentence passed by the learned J.M.F.C., Vasco dated 15.03.2019 and 03.04.2019 and further confirmed by the learned Sessions Judge dated 30.12.2019 are quashed and set aside. The applicant is acquitted of the said charges.

5. The surety furnished before the learned Sessions Court also stands discharged.

6. In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Damodar Prabhu Vs. Sayad Babalal H.{2010 (5) SCC 663}, the applicant to deposit 15% of the amount before the Goa State Legal Services Authority within a week from today.

7. The application stands disposed off.
