After hearing the matter for some time, Mr. C. Fonseca, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner points out that in the meanwhile the main appeal before the Directorate of Panchayat has already been disposed of and as such the grievance of the petitioner in the above petition would not survive. Hence, the petition stands accordingly disposed of as infructuous.

2. It is made clear that the allegations and counter allegations made in the above petition and reply have not been examined by this Court. All contentions of parties on merits are left open. F. M. REIS, J.
