Heard Mr. Parag Rao, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr. A.N.S. Nadkarni, learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents No.1 to 3 and Mr. Shivan Desai, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents No.4 to 17.

2. During the course of hearing of the above petition, the learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents No.1 to 3 has pointed out that the respondent No.2 shall appoint the petitioner as a Member of the Board in the vacancy reserved for Lady Member in terms of Section 67A of the Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001, within one month from today.

3. In view of the said statement, Mr. P. Rao, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, upon instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the above writ petition.

4. Accepting the said statement, the petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
