Heard Mr. Y. V. Nadkarni, learned counsel for the Petitioner in all these petitions. He files an affidavit of service to indicate that all the Respondents have been duly served.

The Petitioner seeks execution of demolition order made by the Respondent No.1- Panchayat.

On the last occasion, we had adjourned the matter in order to

2 WP124-20&Orsdt.25.02.2020 enable Mr. Dhargalkar, learned counsel for Respondent No.1-Panchayat to make a statement as to whether, there exists any legal impediment to execute its own demolition order.

Today, Mr. Dhargalkar, learned counsel for Respondent No.1Panchayat on instructions from the Secretary of the Panchayat who is present in the Court states that there is no legal impediment and that further, the Panchayat, within two weeks from today will address a requisition to the Block Development Officer for providing demolition squad.

This statement is accepted.

The Respondent No.1-Panchayat to act in accordance with the statement as aforesaid and further, pursue the matter with the Block Development Officer so that its own demolition order is executed within a reasonable period.

All the petitions are disposed of in the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned to act on the basis of the authenticated copy of this order.
